Kaleidoscope Desert is a donation-based rental property and animal sanctuary in the Arizona desert. The animals roam free across the property, creating an experience that feels more like visiting another world than checking into a stay.

We stayed in the tower — a structure that's essentially a giant kaleidoscope, with colorful glass and mirrors catching the desert light in unexpected ways. The property has a bunch of unique spots scattered throughout, each one more photogenic than the last.
